I liked the feta croissant and the egg-and-cheese croissant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the French background music was a nice touch. The restrooms were also clean.

Update: I would like to thank management but more especially the staff for going above and beyond to remedy my previous concerns. Went back with my dad yesterday. We had great service and food. Cannelle is a must try in Ann Arbor!

Honestly I was very excited to visit. Locals hailed this business as top notch. With that being said I referred a lot of people here without making my first visit. Having traveled throughout Europe and France I was looking for a place where I could have those delicacies I once was able to enjoy abroad. I was greeted by a very clean nice set up but when I went to order that’s where the mid communication started I thought my sandwich was coming on a baguette. Unfortunately my sandwich was hard on top soggy in the inside and looked thrown together. I called to speak with a manager was told I would get 15% and rushed off the phone I had to stress I didn’t eat the sandwich it’s condition and was left with a tone through the receiving end that there business is good and sounded irritated I called. Not the situation I wanted as a first time customer. I hope next time will be more pleasant.

Canelle was a really great time. The atmosphere is very nice, and the furniture is high quality. They have a wide array of both sweet and savory pastries and croissants. We had the Asiago and ham croissant, the blueberry almond croissant, and a demi baguette with butter. The food was very good. One suggestion would be having olive oil/balsamic available to eat with the bread, but that is my only point of criticism. We did not try any of the drinks but they looked good.
